Maybe nothing is terribly wrong.

And yet, something in you knows it’s time for something to change.

You may have built a beautiful life.

You may be capable, responsible, accomplished and deeply caring.

And still, you find yourself repeating things you thought you had already figured out.

Saying yes when you mean no.
Carrying more than your share.
Second-guessing yourself.
Avoiding the conversation.
Working harder.
Keeping the peace.
Putting yourself last.
Staying in situations longer than you want to.
Wondering why you understand yourself so well — and yet still react in ways you wish you didn’t.

You may not think of these things as patterns.

You may simply know that something no longer feels like the life you want to keep living.

That’s often where our work begins.

Beyond the Pattern

I help women uncover the patterns that have been quietly shaping their lives so they can create more freedom in how they choose, speak, love, work, relate and live.

Not because there is something wrong with them.

Quite the opposite.

Many of the ways we move through life were intelligent responses to what we learned about safety, love, belonging, responsibility and who we needed to be.

They worked.

Until they didn’t.

And eventually, something inside us begins to ask:

Is this still how I want to live?

That question has changed my own life.

I know what it is to live inside patterns I didn’t consciously choose.

For much of my life, I was extraordinarily capable.

I knew how to work hard.
Take care of people.
Keep going.
Adapt.
Achieve.
Survive difficult things.

From the outside, capability can look a lot like freedom.

They are not always the same thing.

My own journey has included recovery, profound loss, relationships, reinvention, entrepreneurship and the ongoing work of becoming increasingly honest about what is mine — and what I learned to carry.

For years, I did the work through language, thought, story and understanding.

That work was invaluable.

And then I discovered something else:

I could understand a pattern perfectly and still feel it operating inside me.

My body knew things my thinking mind could not simply reason away.

That realization changed the direction of my work.

We can understand ourselves — and still need another way in.

Coaching helps us see.

We can examine the stories we have inherited, the roles we have assumed, the meaning we have made and the choices available to us now.

And sometimes understanding is enough.

Sometimes it isn’t.

Because our experiences are not stored only as thoughts.

They also live in our bodies — in what we brace against, avoid, tolerate, anticipate, protect, reach for and automatically repeat.

This is why my work now includes both coaching and the Ishtara Method™, a science-supported, body-based practice.

One allows us to explore the story.

The other allows the body to participate.

Together, they can create something I care deeply about:

choice.

Freedom, to me, is not becoming someone new.

It is becoming increasingly free to be yourself.

To recognize the moment you are about to abandon yourself — and choose differently.

To speak when you once stayed silent.

To rest without earning it.

To want what you want.

To change your mind.

To receive.

To trust yourself.

To stop organizing your life around keeping everyone else comfortable.

To experience intimacy without disappearing inside it.

To allow success, money, pleasure, creativity, belonging and desire to have a place in your life.

To discover that something you have always thought was simply who you are may actually be something you learned.

And learned things can change.

What I Believe

I believe you are already whole.

I believe many of our patterns began as intelligent ways of protecting ourselves, belonging or getting our needs met.

I believe awareness creates possibility.

I believe the body carries wisdom that cannot always be accessed through thinking alone.

I believe freedom grows when we have more choices available to us.

And I believe there comes a point in a woman’s life when living according to who she has been expected to be becomes far less interesting than discovering who she actually is.

That is the work that fascinates me.

My Work

I have been coaching since 2010 and have spent thousands of hours sitting with people inside the conversations that matter most.

I am trained in multiple coaching approaches and am a licensed Ishtara Method™ teacher.

My work is thoughtful, curious, direct and deeply human.

I will not tell you who you should become.

I am far more interested in helping you notice what has been shaping you, hear what is true for you, and discover what becomes possible when you are no longer living automatically inside an old pattern.

Sometimes our work happens through conversation.

Sometimes through the body.

Often through both.

Always in service of greater freedom.

What Feels Ready to Shift?

You do not need to know exactly what the pattern is.

You do not need to arrive with the perfect words.

You may only have a feeling.

A repeating frustration.

A relationship that keeps bringing up the same thing.

A longing you have ignored.

A decision you cannot seem to make.

A sense that the woman you have been is no longer quite large enough for the life asking to emerge.

That is enough.

We can begin there.

Beyond the pattern is choice.
Beyond the pattern is possibility.
Beyond the pattern is more of you.
